A brand that recalls the beginnings of the great Italian frame-making tradition
The San Cristobal is hand-crafted in Northern Italy using a Columbus SL Chromoly tube-set and the price includes a matching fork available in your choice of threaded (for a quill-stem) or threadless (for a modern stem). This model is identical to the Ciocc frame ridden by Italian Claudio Corti to victory in 1977 at the San Cristobal Venezuela UCI World Championship Road Race. Ciocc was founded by master frame builder Giovanni Pelizzoli 60 years ago. Ciocc was his nickname (which, in the local dialect means poker faced, hence the Ciocc badge of four aces in a cross formation). The San Cristobal model replicates the geometry and performance of that Rainbow Jersey winning Ciocc model, and adds a touch of class with chrome lugs, fork, and rear stays. Available in free custom paint in almost any color combination you can imagine with or without panels, and with as much or as little chrome as you want, anywhere on the frame that you want. Also available in partial or full gold plated finish for $1495 more. All of our bike prices include pro-assembly.
One of our highly experienced pro-bike specialist mechanics will build your bike, then test ride it in the parking lot to verify everything works flawlessly. We will then remove the rear wheel, seat post, and front stem plate for shipping. Your bike will be packed for shipment in a manner that fully eliminates any possibility of arriving to you in less than perfect condition. Once you have your new bike, simply install the front wheel, slide in the seat-post/seat, and attach the stem front plate. You will be ready to ride or race in minutes.
We will contact you once you have placed your order to discuss and verify the size-specs of the bike that you have ordered. If you are in any way uncertain of your size-selection, one of our fitters with decades of fitting experience will spend as much time as is necessary going through every detail of fit and size selection with you, including discussing the sizing-specs of your current bike, your personal fit-preferences (if any), and each of the functional differences between different available options in frame-size, stem-length, and other metrics, as they apply to you personally.
