The frame formerly known as the Shockwave 9.5 has been re-engineered for more versatility based around a more progressive 8 inches of travel. (The 9.5 inch travel version is still available, however.) Mtn. Cycle has also carefully modified the geometry too, based around more competitive angles to place you more in the attack position. Comes stock with either a Progressive 5th Element, or (For $1995) a Fox DHX 5.0 rear shock. Designed to demolish obstacles, both small grumble and big impacts, the multi-link suspension system offers maximum grip through the entire range of travel and minimizes kickback.
